Celebrate National Tequila Day: July 24th!

Nothing goes better with summer weather than a refreshing margarita, so it should come as no surprise that National Tequila Day falls on July 24th—right in the middle of the season. Showing your appreciation for this south of the border spirit has never been easier, as Sauza® Tequila has some great drink recipes that are not only incredibly delicious, but simple to make.

Who has time for complicated? What matters most is enjoying your margarita, not how long it takes to prepare it. Here are a few simple, no-fuss recipes perfect for your National Tequila Day celebrations and all summer long:

Sauza Blooming Berry-rita

Ingredients:

2/3 part Sauza® Silver Tequila
1/3 part DeKuyper® Strawberry Patch Schnapps Liqueur
1 part Frozen Limeade
1 part Sparkling Wine
1 part Water
Handful of Strawberries

Directions
:
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher with ice. Mix well. Add fresh sliced strawberries. Stir and enjoy.

 

Cadillac Rio Margarita
Cool off with this refreshingly smooth and simple margarita recipe from Sauza’s newest offering, Sauza® Blue Tequila

Ingredients:
2 parts Sauza® Blue Silver Tequila
1 part JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
1 part lime juice
1/2 part agave nectar

Directions
:
Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled margarita glass.  Garnish with an orange on the rim.

 

The Mama Rita

Ingredients:
1.5 parts Sauza® Silver Tequila
0.5 part Cabernet Sauvignon
1 part DeKuyper Triple Sec
1 part Agave Nectar
1 part Fresh Lime juice

Directions
:
Combine ingredients in a glass over ice
