In this tequila tour we will be visiting two of the most important places in the area. First is the Zapopan area of Guadalajara, then on to Tequila, Jalisco, a Pueblo Magico.
Zapopan
The Basilica of Our Lady of Zapopan, who is said to have brought peace by a miraculous intervention in the Mixton War (1539-1542), which makes the city a pilgrimage point as well as a tourist atraction. Zapopan is one of the most historic communities in the metropolitan area of Jalisco. The Basilica, which is considered an architectonic jewel because of its beauty and its Mexican baroque style. (Built in 1690).
Tequila, Jalisco - Pueblo Magico
A magical town just outside of Guadalajara, where we will observe and experience the history of our national drink, Tequila.
On our way we will be able to observe the fields full of blue agave plants.
