Muchote Tequila is distilled in Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico by the Vivanco family distillery located in the Highlands region. The distillery uses only estate grown, 100% Weber Blue Agave, and they continue to use traditional artisan production methods that have remained unchanged for three generations. Will and Dave Elger, along with the Vivanco family, oversee all aspects of Muchote production including final tasting and the bottling of every batch.
Mark Levinson, president of A. Hardy USA, believes that Muchote Tequila will fill a void in the premium tequila market. “We saw a need for a premium tequila that is both high-quality and competitively priced, and Muchote Tequila succeeds in accomplishing each of these goals”, said Levinson.
Muchote Tequila is packaged in 750 ml bottles and has a suggested retail price of $29.99 per bottle. It is available nationally at fine restaurants and liquor stores.
