Tequila Quiote distillery in Los Altos de Jalisco is proud to announce that “Caballito Cerrero” Reposado has been awarded the distinguished Diosa Mayahuel Award for Tequila Excellence. At a ceremony held in México City, 100% agave “Caballito Cerrero” Reposado was recognized as one of the outstanding tequilas of 2007, and took first place honors in its category.
“This is the seventh time these awards were presented, and only the very best of the tequila industry were recognized,” says Mr. Francisco Hajnal, a master tequilero and President of the Mexican Association of Tequila Tasters.
