Tequila Cocktails for a Festive Fourth!

Here are some 4th of July and summer time drink recipes from Sauza® and Hornitos™ Tequila. They are not only delicious, but easy to make and are sure to put a spark in your holiday weekend!

Red, White & Sauza Blue Margarita
Ingredients:
1.5 parts of Sauza Blue® Silver Tequila
2 parts cranberry/ raspberry juice
8 mint leaves for garnish
1 part lemon-lime soda
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except mint leaves in a pitcher. Serve each glass with 2 mint leaves. Serve cold or iced.

The Firecracker
Ingredients:
1 part Hornitos™ Plata Tequila
0.25 part blueberry syrup
0.50 part DeKuyper® Pucker® Raspberry Schnapps Imitation Liqueur
0.25 part Campari
Dash of lime juice
Directions: Layer ingredients as listed above in shot glass. Drink and enjoy!

Sauza®-rita:
Serves 9
Ingredients:
1 can of Frozen Limeade
1 can of Sauza® Silver Tequila
1 bottle of light beer
1 can of water
Directions: Pour limeade and beer into a pitcher filled with ice. Fill limeade can with Sauza® Silver, pour into pitcher. Fill limeade can with water, pour into pitcher. Stir and enjoy. Makes 9 servings.
